1. P1 — the closest self-park to T2

P1 is the multi-storey directly opposite T2's check-in hall — a 3–5 minute covered walk. It reopened for pre-booking on 22 May 2026 after works. If you value cutting shuttle time to zero and are happy paying more per day for proximity, this is the one.
Maximum stay 10 days (sometimes shorter during peak periods). Pre-book — the turn-up price is significantly higher than the pre-booked one.
2. P3 — the barrierless option
Best for: confident drivers who like tech-forward parking; not for anyone who wants to pay at a machine on the way out.
P3 (former T2 West Multi Storey) switched to barrierless operation on 25 March 2026. ANPR cameras record your entry and exit; there are no on-site payment machines. Payment is online, via app, or by phone, and there's a deadline set out in the airport's terms.
If you're pre-booked, this is essentially frictionless — the ANPR matches your plate to your booking and you drive in and out. If you turn up without a booking, remember the payment window. Miss it and you'll get a penalty notice.
3. P12 — mid-stay multi-storey
Best for: mid-length trips (a week or two) where you want on-airport security without paying the top-tier P1/P3 rate.
Slightly longer walk to T2 than P1, but a decent middle ground on price for one- and two-week stays.
4. Long-stay (JetParks and comparable) with shuttle
Best for: longest trips, budget-focused travellers, anyone happy with a short bus ride.
Long-stay car parks sit further from the terminal with regular shuttle transfers. Typically the cheapest per-day option, sometimes by a lot for longer stays. Manchester Airport itself says you can save up to 77% versus turn-up prices by pre-booking here.

5. Off-airport meet & greet (independent operators)
